Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Estopia services, including the Estopia Chat mobile app and any services on estopia.net (collectively, the "Service"). By using Estopia, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Who Can Use Estopia

You must be at least 13 years old to use Estopia. By using the Service, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 13 years old
  • You have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms
  • If you're under the age of majority in your country, you have permission from a parent or guardian

⚠️ If you are under the age of digital consent in your country (typically between 13 and 16), you may need a parent or guardian's permission to use Estopia.

2. Your Estopia Account

You are responsible for your account. This includes keeping your login credentials secure and ensuring others do not use your account without permission.

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials
  • Impersonate another user
  • Create accounts using fake information or by automated means

Estopia reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User Conduct and Content

You may not use Estopia to engage in harmful or illegal behavior. This includes:

  • Harassment, threats, or hate speech
  • Sharing illegal, explicit, or violent content
  • Spamming or scamming other users
  • Violating intellectual property rights
  • Attempting to hack or disrupt the platform

We may remove content and take action (including banning accounts) if you violate these rules.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create and share on Estopia (messages, images, etc.). However, by uploading content, you grant Estopia a limited, non-exclusive license to:

  • Store and transmit your content as needed to deliver the service
  • Display your content to others in the context of the platform (e.g., chat messages in servers or DMs)

We do not use your content for advertising or marketing purposes.

You are solely responsible for the content you share.

5. Copyright & DMCA

If you believe content on Estopia infringes your copyright, you may send a takedown request to:

It will need to include the following:

  • Your name and contact information
  • A description of the copyrighted work
  • The URL or location of the allegedly infringing content
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized
  • A statement that your request is accurate and made under penalty of perjury

We will respond as required by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep Estopia running, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may:

  • Suspend or limit features for maintenance or security
  • Add, change, or remove features at any time

We are not liable for any data loss, downtime, or interruptions. Please view the status page for the live availability.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

By using Estopia, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Break the law using Estopia
  • Pose a security or legal risk to us or other users

If your account is terminated, you may lose access to content, messages, and files associated with it.

9. Intellectual Property

All Estopia branding, logos, design, and original content (excluding user-generated content) belong to Estopia and its owners. You may not use our brand or content without permission.

10. Disclaimers

Estopia is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no guarantees about:

  • The reliability or performance of the service
  • That content will always be available or accurate
  • That the app will be free from bugs or vulnerabilities

Use Estopia at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Estopia and its owner(s) are not liable for:

  • Any indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of data or content
  • Issues caused by third-party services or providers

In any case, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the last 12 months.

12. International Use

We welcome users from around the world. Please be aware:

  • Estopia is based in the United Kingdom
  • Your data may be processed and stored in the UK
  • You are responsible for complying with local laws when using Estopia

Some countries may not recognize foreign legal jurisdiction or certain liability limits. In such cases, your local rights may still apply.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post changes on our website or notify you in-app. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. If a dispute arises, it will be handled in the courts of the UK, unless required otherwise by law.
