Countdown to MVP Release: Just over 40 days (Target: 6th September)
Weekly Dev Summary
This week, every team member contributed something to this code. We encountered several challenges during the implementation of new features, particularly around integrating LiveKit for voice communication. Despite setbacks, we’re proud to ship this release with major functionality in place.
There are still a few quality-of-life features and bugs to resolve, but all are accounted for in our MVP roadmap. Android support is confirmed for launch. iOS support is tentative while we await funding for an Apple Developer License.
Platform & Process Updates
We’ve officially migrated our internal issue tracking system from GitHub to YouTrack by JetBrains. This allows us greater flexibility in managing tasks, time, and features.
Please note: GitHub will no longer be used for bug reports or feature requests.
All public issues should be reported through the Suport Process.
Anything submitted via GitHub will be auto-closed by our internal workflow and not be handled.
Shoutout: Timo's Contributions
Although it may look like Timo (@ttvtimotheus) just started - he's been an essential part of the team for the past two weeks. His efforts, especially around UI/UX redesign and voice integration, have been transformative. He’s also helping lead iOS development thanks to having access to a Mac.
Much of his work hadn’t been clearly visible in previous release notes since others pushed his code. We're setting the record straight: Timo’s been crushing it.
